What You'll Need
- We ride rain or shine - come prepared
- Helmet (Snell 90 or Dot)
- Full leathers required for A & B riders
- Motorcycle specific gloves
- Motorcycle specific boots
- Motorcycle specific pants for C riders
- Motorcycle specific jacket for C riders
- Motorcycle - good running, clean & leak free (must meet 92db limit for Laguna Seca - 103db for all other tracks).
- 6" - 2 digit number for the front and right side of your bike for Laguna Seca.
- New or almost new tires (minimum 75% tread remaining)
- Parental waiver for riders under 18
- A good nights sleep prior to your track day.
Motorcycle Requirements
- All Glass or plastic lenses must be taped or removed. Tape is provided at the track for this purpose.
- 6" - 2 digit number for the front and right side of your bike for Laguna Seca.
- Tape headlight and taillight and unplug, or remove.
- Remove or tape rear view mirrors.
- All quick detachable bags are to be removed.
- We suggest removing any fairing parts that are easy to take off, plastic is costly.
- Brake pads and rotors in good condition
- Brake pedal and lever firm.
- Brake fluid clean and at proper level
- Good tires - a minimum of 75% of tread remaining.
- Proper tire pressure. It is important to make certain they are at manufacturer's recommended pressure for high speed riding. It is up to you to check them.
- Check wheel bearings for side play.
- Check steering head and swing arm.
- Make certain handlebars and levers are tight.
- Check cables, wheel alignment, spokes, etc.
- Ideally, we would like to see everybody running distilled water instead of coolant in their radiators, but it's not required.
- Make sure you have a full tank of gas.
- Remember to bring the key to your motorcycle.
Please make certain that your bike is in good shape and is capable of passing tech inspection. If you are unsure of anything fix it before you get to the track. We cannot allow an unsafe motorcycle on the track. Should you fail technical inspection or should you be unable to complete your day due to mechanical or other problems all your monies will be forfeited.
Check your tires, chain, etc. after a couple of track sessions. We don’t tech after each session. It’s up to you to make certain your bike remains in top condition. If you see a problem, or potential problem, with someone else’s bike, please let them know. Let’s all help one another.
